The Hermanos en el Camino migrant shelter was created on February 27, 2007 in Ciudad Ixtepec, Oaxaca, at the initiative of Father Alejandro Solalinde. More than 400 migrants slept in the shelter the first night. The flow of people has been constant since then, reaching nearly 20,000 people a year. Since then, she has accompanied our migrant sisters and brothers and offers them humanitarian assistance by providing food and lodging, as well as medical and psychological support and legal and legal advice.

In this context, the Shelter supports them on their way, generating solidarity practices and defending them in the fight for the respect of their Human Rights.
